Children First Appeal
Simon Acres Group supports KBB Mental Health Appeal
Leading KBB and merchant service provider Simon Acres Group, (SAGL) is supporting Managing Director of TT Training Academy and Founder of the Courageous Kids Awards,
Suzanne Skeete with the launch of an appeal to provide mental health services for children
and adults.
SAGL has pledged £5,000 to kick-start the appeal and is asking for other KBB
companies to add their support.
Suzanne is asking the KBB industry to back the appeal, and raise funds to maintain a 24
hour helpline, along with other essential services.
Suzanne says, “The helpline will be targeted towards children, with dedicated counsellors offering the support they need. It can also be accessed by adults. If adults are more aware of their own mental health, then our children have a better opportunity to get the life they deserve .(…) The pandemic has brought new challenges for many children who urgently need help. We are looking for at least ten more companies to join SAGL and make a donation. Companies that come on board as supporters will be offered wellness checkings and discounted wellness reviews for employees, as well as the opportunity to take part in the next Courageous Kids Award.”
